About Us
Phillips Bark Processing Company is a wholesale supplier of premium mulch and soil products. We offer our products both bulk and bagged to suit your landscaping and planting needs. We are family owned and have been serving Mississippi and Louisiana customers since 1974.

Our Products In Detail
Mulches:
- Pine Bark Mulch -
- Double-hammered Pine Bark that is screened to 5/8'" and less particle size. Perfect for all types of landscaping applications. (Click on image to enlarge)
- Red Color Mulch -
- Double-hammered hardwood chips that are dyed red with a non-toxic, iron oxide based colorant.
- Black Color Mulch -
- Double-hammered hardwood chips that are dyed black with a non-toxic, carbon based colorant.
- Pine Bark Nuggets-
- Larger, 1" - 2" pieces of pine bark screened to uniformity.
- Pine Bark Fines-
- Double-hammered and screened to 3/8" and less particle size. Also known as Soil Conditioner.
- Hardwood Mulch -
- Shredded oak bark double-hammered and screened to uniformity (click on image to enlarge)

Soils:
- Top Soil Mix -
- An ideal bedding mix consisting of bark fines, sand and wood ash.
- Potting Soil-
- Contains our Top Soil Mix formula with the addition of Perlite, Vermiculite and a balanced 13-13-13 fertilizer.
- Compost and Manure Mix -
- An organic soil mix consisting of our Top Soil Mix fortified with 20% chicken litter.
- Micro - Blend Soil Mix-
- Our premium potting mix comparable to familiar name-brand products, but a fraction of their price.

Playground Surface
SHOWSCAPE PLAYGROUND CHIPS™ Playground safety has received more attention in the past couple of decades with the intent of reducing the number and severity of accidents by children while playing. During this time EWF, or Engineered Wood Fiber, was developed to give playgrounds a safe, durable surface, as well as for impact attenuation in case a child falls.
Our Showscape Playground Chips have been tested and certified by IPEMA (International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association) to meet ASTM F1292 and ASTM F2075, which are the manufacuring standards for engineered wood fiber and impact attenuation. This product will give children a safe and durable play surface at a fraction of the cost of alternative surfacings.
